I’m Emily, the heart and hands behind Belladonna Patterns. A lifelong maker, I first fell in love with sewing nearly 20 years ago. With a background in visual arts and years spent as a working artist, I’ve always been drawn to the magic of creating something from nothing - whether it’s a painting, a sketch, or a beautifully crafted garment.

After a twist of fate (and a corporate downsizing), I decided to return to my creative roots and fully embrace my passion for sewing, illustration, and fashion. That journey led me to create Belladonna Patterns: a digital download sewing pattern company devoted to bringing a little more enchantment into everyday wardrobes.
